Andrews's work in sports medicine began in the early 1970s. He was one of the first surgeons to use arthroscopy, a minimally invasive technique that allows surgeons to visualize and repair joints. Andrews also developed new surgical techniques for repairing torn ligaments and tendons. His work has helped countless athletes to return to competition after suffering serious injuries.

In addition to his work as a surgeon, Andrews is also a gifted teacher and mentor. He has trained hundreds of orthopedic surgeons, many of whom have gone on to become leaders in the field. Andrews is also a passionate advocate for sports safety and injury prevention.

My Extraordinary Life in Sports Medicine is a fascinating story of dedication, innovation, and triumph. It is a must-read for anyone who is interested in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, or the human body. It is also a powerful reminder of the importance of hard work, perseverance, and giving back to others.
