About the Author
Terry Lynn Johnson was born in 1953 in San Diego, California. She began working with dogs at a young age, and she quickly developed a passion for helping abandoned and abused animals. In 1995, she founded her own dog rescue organization, Second Chance Dog Rescue. Over the years, Terry and her team of volunteers rescued and trained hundreds of dogs, many of whom went on to become therapy dogs, service dogs, and beloved family pets.
Terry passed away in 2020, but her legacy continues through her work with Second Chance Dog Rescue. The organization is now run by Terry's daughter, Jessica.
