About the Authors
Dr. Susan Hanson is a Professor of Urban Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on climate change adaptation and mitigation in cities, with a particular emphasis on the role of urban planning and design.
Dr. David Satterthwaite is a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED). He has worked on urban poverty and environmental issues for over 50 years, with a focus on cities in developing countries.
Dr. Saleemul Huq is the Director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) in Bangladesh. He is a leading expert on climate change adaptation and has served on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for over 20 years.
